English Girl Seeks Language Exchange in Berlin

Hi my name is Jessica and I will be in Berlin for 3 weeks from the 11th of February. I speak very basic German. I am English but I speak fluent Spanish. I am looking for someone to practise my German with or to go through my notes with. In return I will happily help you with your English or Spanish. With conversation or with any grammar points you wish to go over.

Hey, ich mach ab April ein Praktikum in Vancouver. Ab wann ich da bin weiß ich nur leider noch nicht...das Visum lässt sich Zeit.
Wie lange geht denn dein Sprachkurs?

Hey, habe den Kurs storniert, da ich mich doch entschieden habe den größten Teil meines Aufenthaltes in Whistler zu verbringen.Schade,bin leider auch nur 2 Wochen in Kanada.

Hallo!

Ich heiße Saphira und werde im November 2013 für fünf Monate zusammen mit einer Freundin nach Paris gehen!

Wollte nur mal fragen, wer schon mal an dem Programm teilgenommen hat und mir ein paar Tipps geben kann? Wir haben jetzt erst mal keine Unterkunftsvermittlung gebucht, aber falls wir nichts anderes finden, würde ich das zur Not dann doch machen. Kann mir jemand sagen wo man da so untergebracht wird und wie teuer die Miete ungefähr ist? :)

Und das Wichtigste :D : Kommt man in Paris mit seinem verdienten Lohn überhaupt aus?

Hey, ich bin Patrizia und werde ab Februar auch an dem Work and Travel Programm teilnehmen. Bist du jetzt schon dort? Mich würde das gleiche interessieren, was du in dem Forum gefragt hast. Reicht der Lohn überhaupt aus um die gesamten Kosten abzudecken? Und was hast du für eine Unterkunft gefunden? Ich hoffe mal dass alles gut läuft :)

ja...also erst 2 wochen sprachkurs und dann 4 wochen praktikum

warst du schon mal in cork?
kannst du mir irgendwas empfehlen,was ich unbedingt sehen muss bzw. von irgendwas abraten? :p

Dann sind wir ja schon 3 Leute, die im März mit GLS nen Praktikum in Irland machen.
Da sollte man auf jeden Fall mal was zusammen starten. Bin ab 02.03 in Dublin.

Bin ich auch dafür, ich hab eine deutsche Mitbewohnerin, die auch ein Praktikum macht, also sind wir schon 4 ;)

4 Leute ist perfekt. Da könnte man für ein Wochenende mal ein Auto mieten und die Insel erkunden.
Irgendwer Erfahrung im Linksverkehr? Ich nicht aber wird das schon werden =)

Ich muss gestehen ich auch ein wenig =) aber langsam gehts.
Habe auch nen deutschen Mitbewohner und der meinte das die Agentur in Irland immer mal Abende veranstaltet. War da schon irgendwer von euch? Ansonsten könnte man sich auch die Tage mal in nen Pub in der Stadt treffen, wenn ihr Lust habt. Bin eig sowieso jeden Abend im Pub =)

I'm in Berlin now and enjoying the weather which has just become beautiful. My class starts on Monday and I'm trying to catch up on what I've learned other places in the past. I will be at GLS for only one week and then going to an intentional community (gemeinshaft) I know. I like to ride the trams in Berlin and am happy to just look out the window and see what Berlin looks like.
