Hey everyone!

My name is Itai, 22 from Israel. Going to start the German course on 2nd of May. Already wanting to meet all you guys ;-)

My plan is to rent an apartment in the school area, around the 250-350 a month. Does anybody here knows an available apartment, or wud like to rent with me? ;-)

Hallo!

Ich bin ab April 2011 in Brighton für einen Sprachkurs und ein Praktikum. Im Moment plane ich gerade meine Anreise, bin mir aber nicht sicher, was am besten wäre. Kann mir vielleicht jemand helfen? Ist es besser nach Heathrow oder nach Gatwick zu fliegen? Und wie kommt man dann am besten nach Brighton? Ich hab gesehen, dass ab Victoria Station ein Zug fährt, aber vielleicht gibts auch einfachere Wege?

Würd mich freuen, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte!

Hallo Caerrele,

Du kannst gleicermaßen nach gatwick oder Hetahrow fliegen. Von Gatwick gibt es einen Zug nach Brighton, von allen anderen Flughägen gibt es Busse nach Brighton. Man muss nicht zwangsläufig ins Zentrum von London. Die Fahrt nach Brighton wird etwa 2 Stunden dauern. Fahrpläne von Bussen gibt es unter National Express und für Züge bei National Rail. Vor der Abreise erhölst du von GLS auch noch mal Reiseinfos mit den Links, und die Fahrkarte kann man vor Ort kaufen.

My name is Andrei, im 30, I will be staying at Brandenburg Gate apartments from febr 20th to march 4th, I plan to do 3 things while staying here:

- learn some german

- go to the gym everyday , as I recently became a big fan of bodybuilding, and I want to see some german hardcore gyms :)

- learn some things about the german history, I have seen some interesting places to visit while browsing the web, for example the Hohenschoenhausen museum, Museum of photography and other museums.
