Trains, bikes, und mehr!
Being relatively large and spread out, Berlin has a lot of options when it comes to getting around the city while learning German here! A popular option is the U-Bahn, with its plentiful and clearly-marked stops and well-connected lines (you can even download an offline u-bahn map to your smartphone to help route you between destinations!).
For a scenic overground experience, there are also several tram lines that run through a large part of Berlin (also helpful for getting around Prenzlauer Berg, the neighbourhood of the GLS German Language School).

Rent or purchase a bicycle for efficient transport—but as a pedestrian, take care to avoid walking in bike lanes!
