I am a student from Switzerland and I am coming in Berlin to learn German.

I am looking for an accomodation in the city from the end of September to the middle of December 2015.

Hallo!

Past and present students, which bank (s) are the best to use when studying in germany? I have read that some waive fees for you if you are a student...? Any advice here would be appreciated.

According to some German friends who did studied that for me a good one is : Comdirect (www.comdirect.de)
Indeed as for DKB it's free and trustful, but Comdirect does not look to ask for a monthly income.
