Weekend excursions with GLS in May: this month we walk through a former prison, in the footsteps of the Humboldt brothers, high above the trees and past magnificent palaces!
Die GLS Sprachschule organisiert jede Woche mehrere Unternehmungen in Berlin, die nach dem Deutschkurs stattfinden und bei denen du zusammen mit anderen Kursteilnehmern Berlin erkunden kannst.
The GLS German Language School organizes several activities in Berlin every week, which take place after the German course and where you can explore Berlin together with other course participants.

Ausflug: Gedenkstätte Hohenschönhausen

Wir besichtigen das berüchtigte Gefängnis des DDR-Inlandsgeheimdienstes, der Stasi. Hier bekommen wir eine Führung von einem Historiker und erfahren mehr über die Geschichte der ehemaligen Häftlinge.

We visit the infamous prison of the GDR's domestic intelligence service, the Stasi. Here we get a guided tour by a historian and learn more about the history of the former prisoners.

Weimar hat Goethe, Salzburg hat Mozart – und Reinickendorf hat die Humboldt-Brüder! Wir spazieren auf Humboldts Spuren am Tegler See vorbei und in den Wald. Ein erlebnisreicher Ausflug voller Bezirksgeschichte, vorbei an den Stationen des Lebens der Brüder Alexander und Wilhelm von Humboldt in Tegel mit spannenden und unterhaltsamen Informationen zu den einzelnen Punkten im Leben dieser Persönlichkeiten.

Weimar has Goethe, Salzburg has Mozart - and Reinickendorf has the Humboldt brothers! We walk in Humboldt's footsteps past Lake Tegler and into the forest. An eventful excursion full of district history, past the stations in the life of the brothers Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt in Tegel with exciting and entertaining information on the individual points in the lives of these personalities.

Ausflug: Baumwipfelpfad in den Beelitzer Heilstätten

Wir besuchen die „Beelitzer Heilstätten“ – einer der „lost places“ Berlins. Das ehemalige Krankenhaus wird heute als Filmkulisse genutzt und ist ein Ort für besondere Fotomotive. Außerdem gibt es hier Baumwipfelpfade zum Entdecken der Natur auf ganz neuen Wegen.
We visit the "Beelitzer Heilstätten" - one of Berlin's "lost places". The former hospital is now used as a film set and is a place for special photo motifs. There are also treetop paths to discover nature in a whole new way.

Potsdam: The wonderful city of Prussian palaces and gardens. We discover Sanssouci Park, the Dutch Quarter and the historic city centre. We will also visit the New Palace.
