Wochenendausflüge mit GLS im Juni: diesen Monat wird es zunächst sportlich, denn wir machen eine Fahrradtour um den Wannsee, fahren in die schöne Stadt Magdeburg, besuchen das ehemalige KOnzentrationslager Sachsenhausen und besuchen das Neue Palais in Potsdam.
Weekend excursions with GLS in June: this month it's going to be sporty at first, as we take a bike tour around the Wannsee lake, go to the beautiful city of Magdeburg, visit the former concentration camp Sachsenhausen and visit the New Palace in Potsdam.

Wir fahren am Wannsee entlang und genießen die schöne Natur um Berlin. Dabei kommen wir z.B. an der Pfaueninsel, der Liebermann-Villa und am Park Babelsberg vorbei.

We cycle along the Wannsee and enjoy the beautiful nature around Berlin. On the way we pass e.g. the Peacock Island, the Liebermann Villa and the Babelsberg Park.

Wir fahren in die 1200 Jahre alte Stadt an der Elbe und besichtigen neben historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten auch das Wasserstraßenkreuz Magdeburg mit der längsten Kanalbrücke der Welt und das Hundertwasserhaus.
We will visit the 1200 year old city on the Elbe River and visit historical sights as well as the Magdeburg waterway intersection with the longest canal bridge in the world and the Hundertwasser House.

Das Konzentrationslager Sachsenhausen hatte zwischen 1936 - 1945 ca. 200.000 Gefangenen. Das Museum zeigt die Geschichte und gedenkt der Opfer.

In the time between 1936 - 1945 the Sachsenhausen concentration camp had about 200,000 prisoners. The museum shows the history and commemorates the victims.
