Hi, it is the first time for me to blog, so let me introduce myself. I am Ayaka from Japan and now take my internship at this, GLS language school. I am 22 years old woman. Now I am going to introduce Berlin to you in English and Japanese and someday in German as well.

This is me, the girl with pink Kimono on the left. 左でピンクの浴衣着てるのが私です。目つき悪いのは太陽のせいにしちゃってください。
My first job is to report one of the museums in Berlin, 'the Museum fur (u with umraut, sorry, I can not type German with my computer!) fotografie'. This museum is really near from the Zoologischergarten station, one of the main station in Berlin. Just a couple of minutes on foot.
初任務は、ベルリンに数ある美術館の中でも、Museum fur (uにはウムラウトがつきます） fotografieにスチューデントアクティビティでいってきました。写真美術館ですね。この美術館はベルリンの主要駅であるZoologischer (ツォーロギッシャーガルテン)駅からすごく近くにあります。歩いて１，２分。本当に近いです。
This is the Zoologischergarten station. As the name, there is the zoo near this station. I recommend Knut there, polar bear though the photo is panda...hahaha. Now I sleep with his doll. hehe. There are souvenir shop near Knut and you can find many polar bear goods there...good business, isn't it? The way of business of this zoo is like Japanese though the staff are all German!
こちらがツォー駅です。名前の通り、本当に動物園が近くにあります。おすすめはクヌート。白熊です。写真はパンダなんですけど。熊猫ですね。今彼のぬいぐるみと一緒に寝ております。クヌートの近くに売店構えちゃって、ちょっと日本人ぽいじゃないですか、ドイツ人。

Unfortunately you can not take photos in the museum, but what I was impressed is that I can see the photos of old days of Grace Kelly, the queen of Monaco and Audrey Hepburn! So, girls must enjoy this museum! There are not only artistic photos but also warmful ones and you can also see the photos of the Nazis, so if you are interested in photography or german histroy, you must go to the Museum fur fotografie! There are many places to rest in the museum, so you can be relaxed here.
この美術館では、ヘルムート・ニュートンというドイツ出身の写真家の作品を主に展示しています。彼はPLAY BOYにも多くの作品を寄せていたので、男性なら１度は観たことがあるかもしれません。

残念ながら館内では写真は禁止されているのですが、私個人の感想としては、モナコ王妃のグレース・ケリー（現代のシンデレラともいわれています）や、オードリーヘップバーンの写真も観ることができます。ですから、女性にも楽しい美術館なのではないでしょうか。芸術的な写真だけではなく、ほほえましい写真もあったり、ナチス時代の国会の写真なんかも観れたりします。写真好きやドイツの歴史好きには絶対おもしろいはず！規模の割にソファも多いので、ゆったりしたい方にもおすすめです。
Here at the GLS school, we have student activities almost everyday. This time, the teacher of this school guided us to the museum. She teaches Turkish language here and also study photography. She is really talkative and good at German, English and of course Turkish. If you are interested in these languages, please ask her! She must help your study and make friends at this school. If you are worried about whether you can make friends there, you must be able to do that through taking part in such activities. I also made friends with Polish girl with my poor German at this activity! Actually, I am the beginner of German and take lessons here at the GLS. Teachers are all kind and they always care about us. If I keep silent for a moment, they always ask me some questions in German, so even Japanese, who are said to be really shy, can join lessons easily!
GLSでは、このようにほぼ毎日スチューデントアクティビティを行っています。今回はGLSでトルコ語を教えている先生に引率してもらって美術館にいってきました。留学しても、学校で友達がつくれるだろうか、と心配な方も、このようなアクティビティに参加することで、同じ不安を抱えている生徒の方々と仲良くできます。私もポーランド人の子と片言のドイツ語で仲良くなりました。ドイツ語の授業も参加させていただいてますが、先生も気配り上手です。ちょっとでも黙ってると、すぐ質問がとんでくるので、内気だといわれている日本人でも輪の中に入りやすい空気をつくってくれます。

Next time, I will tell you about the restaurants in the GLS school. There are a lot of cool and beautiful staff here in this restaurants, so you must enjoy food better than ever! Oh, let me keep secret about the restaurant until next time!
